Italian Excellence. Acerbis X Salvatore Ferragamo

During Fuorisalone 2022, Acerbis and the Maison Salvatore Ferragamo present “ITALIAN EXCELLENCE”, a visual representation of Italian-ness and of the signature refined aesthetics that underly the work and research of Acerbis and Ferragamo.
The shop windows of the Ferragamo Women’s and Men’s boutique in Via Montenapoleone become the stage for a series of compositions realised with products from the Remasters collection.
In the Ferragamo Donna boutique, the Med seat is made of the multicoloured suede distinctive Rainbow wedge, a sandal designed back in 1938 by Salvatore Ferragamo for Judy Garland. In the Men’s boutique, Med reinterprets the brown leather shoe made in 1959 for Andy Warhol, which became famous during his art sessions.
Vico Magistretti’s Florian coffee table is displayed in the windows of the Ferragamo Donna boutique in various suspended parts, highlighting the concept of lightness. In the Ferragamo Uomo boutique, the coffee tables are decontextualised and transformed into an adjustable screen. The majestic composition created through the different marble bases of the Menhir coffee table by Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis takes the form of a scenographic totem, where the circular tabletops intertwine in an evocative visual play.
