Information on the protection of personal data

Under European Regulation 2016/679 (“Privacy Regulation”), MDF ITALIA SRL SOCIETA’ UNIPERSONALE – Tax code and VAT IT 09683280961, Operating headquarters at via Fratelli Cervi, 4/A, 22066 Mariano Comense (CO), Registered office at Via della Posta 10, 20123 Milan, e-mail info@mdfitalia.it (hereinafter, the “Controller” or the “Company”) wishes to inform you that the Newsletter will be distributed by e-mail – automatically and free of charge – to those who request it by filling in the form on this page and ticking the appropriate request box. In particular, the newsletter has no promotional content and is limited to providing general information about the Company’s new products, national and international trade fairs and conventions attended by the Company as well as press news, etc. (hereinafter the “Newsletter”). The legal basis of data processing is thus the supply of the service you have requested (under Article 6(1) b) of the Privacy Regulation).

Different types of Newsletters and which of your data are necessary for processing

The Company issues different types of Newsletter whose contents, as summarily indicated in the previous point, vary according to the type of profession of the data subject (Architect/Designer, Retailer, Press, Private Person, Supplier/Partner) and the place where s/he lives.
For this reason, if you voluntarily decide to subscribe to our Newsletter, please provide us with the data specified below, which are required to identify the right type of Newsletter to be sent to you.

The data we need to this end are:
. your name,
. email address,
. profession (Architect/Designer, Retailer, Press, Private Person, Supplier/Partner)
. town and country of residence or domicile.

The data you provide will not be used for any purposes other than those strictly connected with identifying the type of communication to be sent to you and with sending you our Newsletter.

Method of data processing

The data you provide will be processed mainly on paper and/or computer under the authority of the Controller, by persons specifically designated and trained to process data (under Article 2-quaterdecies of the Privacy Code and Articles. 28 and 29 of the Privacy Regulation). Please note that suitable security measures have been taken, also in accordance with Articles 5 and 32 of the Privacy Regulation, to prevent any data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.

The data may be communicated, within the EU, in full compliance with the provisions of the Privacy Code and the Privacy Regulation, to the following entities: to public entities and/or other public authorities, where required by law or at their request; to external structures, entities and companies used by the Controller to perform activities connected with, instrumental to or ensuing from performance of the Newsletter service; to external consultants, except where they are designated in writing as Data Processors. The updated list of designated Data Processors may be supplied at the request of the data subject.

The data required to send the Newsletter will be processed according to an “OPT-OUT” management model, i.e. until the data subject exercises his or her right to unsubscribe from the service.

You may enforce your rights under Article 15 et seq. of the Privacy Regulation at any time, to access, rectify, transform, block, erase and restrict processing, at the conditions set out in Article 12 of the Privacy Regulation.
