“This exhibition on the work of Gianfranco Frattini is like a ‘moving photograph’ of his work,” says Emanuela Frattini. – A window of memory that overlooks the present and casts its gaze towards the future of his legacy’.

Investigating the work of architect Gianfranco Frattini through time is what the exhibition ‘Gianfranco Frattini: ieri, oggi, domani’ does. From 14 April to 14 May 2023, in the frescoed rooms of the seventeenth-century Palazzo Arese Borromeo in Cesano Maderno, Monza, an exhibition recounts the timeless design of architect Gianfranco Frattini on the occasion of the Milano Design Week 2023, including archive pieces, contemporary re-editions and inspirations for the future.

In the context of the exhibition, Acerbis presents two designs by Gianfranco Frattini, reissued in 2020 and part of the Remasters collection: the Maestro table and the Gong family of low tables.

Designed in 1997 and reissued in full respect of the original version, the Maestro table combines design vision and savoir faire. In the presented size of 3.5 metres, it surprises with the material impact of the walnut wood and for the slatted base.

First introduced in 1987, the Gong family of coffee tables is characterised by its rigorous design and essential lines. Reproduced with contemporary proportions, in different sizes and heights, the Gong coffee tables are available in gunmetal and orbital bronze matt metal finishes, with a matching or contrasting brass stem.

Promoted by the Municipality of Cesano Maderno, in collaboration with the Studio/Archive Gianfranco Frattini, Installation by his daughter, architect Emanuela Frattini.
